Pay Property Tax In Office

NOTE:  Taxes are due October 1^st and delinquent after December 31^st of EVERY YEAR

We are located in the Tuscaloosa County Courthouse at 714 Greensboro Ave. Room 124 Tuscaloosa, AL  35401  downtown, on the 1^st Floor.

Pay Property Tax by Phone
Pay your taxes by phone by calling the Tax Collector’s Office: 205-464-8230

• When calling the Tax Collector’s Office you will need:

1. The exact name of Owner of property
2. The receipt number for the current year
3. The Parcel I.D. number
4. The address of the property

• There is a convenience fee for ALL transactions:  $2.50 minimum and a 2.5% maximum for all Credit & Debit Card transactions

*Tuscaloosa County Tax Collector’s Office does not receive any portion of the convenience fees.  These fees go directly to the online payment processor Ingenuity.

 Paying By Mail with a Check or Money Order

Make checks payable to:

• Make sure payments that are mailed in are POSTMARKED by the Post Office no later than December 31^st.
• If paying taxes AFTER DECEMBER 31^st, contact the Tax Collectors Office for the current amount due (This amt WILL include late fees and interest)
