The County Courthouse and County Offices will be closed on Monday, February 19, 2024 in observance of President’s Day. We will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, February 20, 2024.

Community Services of West Alabama has launched Healthy Homes, a HUD-funded program that promotes childhood wellness and safety by addressing hazard commonly found in homes. The Tuscaloosa County Commission will accept sealed bids on February 1, 2024 at 9:00 AM for the attached surplus lots of Herman Miller workstations. Each station includes a desk (approximately 5’ x 5’ workspace), 3 drawer filing cabinet, and computer chair. Click here for more information.

Due to the threat of inclement weather, Judge Robertson has directed a delayed opening for the County Courthouse, Annex, and Tag Offices until 10:00am on Tuesday, January 16, 2024.
Per the presiding Circuit Court Judge, state courts and jury service will also be delayed until 10:00am on Tuesday, January 16, 2024.
