The Tuscaloosa County Commission is soliciting sealed bids for the sale of surplus real property located at:
Street Address: 1200 James I Harrison Jr. Parkway East, Tuscaloosa, AL 35405
Parcel ID: 30-09-31-2-002-026.000
The parcel can be generally described as a 0.64 acre ± parcel along James I Harrison Jr. Parkway near the intersection of Highway 82 inside the city limits of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The site contains two adjoined buildings. The larger building is brick on wood and corrugated metal construction and has approximately 7,544 sq. ft. under roof set up as office space. The smaller building is metal construction and has approximately 3,800 sq. ft. under roof set up as warehouse or shop space. The site has an asphalt parking lot approximately 22,000 sq. ft. in size with gated chain link fencing.
Separate sealed bids for the property described will be received by the Tuscaloosa County Commission at ATTN: County Administrator, 714 Greensboro Avenue, Suite G78, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401, until 12:00 pm (NOON) on Friday, August 22nd, 2025, when all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the County Commission Chambers, Tuscaloosa County Courthouse, 714 Greensboro Avenue, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401. The Tuscaloosa County Commission reserves the right to reject any and all bids, at its sole discretion.

RFQ FOR ARCHITECTURAL/ENGINEERING PEER REVIEW SERVICES
Tuscaloosa County Commission seeks Statements of Qualifications from professional architectural/engineering firms who have the knowledge, experience, and expertise to provide post-award services for a FEMA-funded community tornado safe room project. Services may include, but are not limited to, preparing architectural/engineering peer reviews of the primary architectural/ engineering design, structural, MEP, and civil drawings and specifications as required by FEMA 361 and ICC-500.

County Commission Work Session
The Tuscaloosa County Commission will conduct a work session at 11:00 am on Fridav,
June 13, 2025 in the Commission Conference Room (large) on the Ground Floor of the
Tuscaloosa County Courthouse. The purpose of the work session will be to discuss
building renovations.
