RFQ FOR ARCHITECTURAL/ENGINEERING PEER REVIEW SERVICES
Tuscaloosa County Commission seeks Statements of Qualifications from professional architectural/engineering firms who have the knowledge, experience, and expertise to provide post-award services for a FEMA-funded community tornado safe room project. Services may include, but are not limited to, preparing architectural/engineering peer reviews of the primary architectural/ engineering design, structural, MEP, and civil drawings and specifications as required by FEMA 361 and ICC-500.

It has been determined that it is in the best interest of the Tuscaloosa County Commission to not make an award and cancel the above reference Invitation for Bids, effective July 2nd, 2025. The County truly appreciates all of your time and effort in preparing a proposal and your interest in doing business with the County, and hope we can count on your participation in future projects.
County Commission Work Session
The Tuscaloosa County Commission will conduct a work session at 11:00 am on Fridav,
June 13, 2025 in the Commission Conference Room (large) on the Ground Floor of the
Tuscaloosa County Courthouse. The purpose of the work session will be to discuss
building renovations.
Lakeview Fire Protection Election Proclamation
In response to a petition received from the Lakeview Fire Protection
District, and in accordance with Section 13 of Act No. 86-656 of the Acts
of Alabama, notice is hereby given that an election to vote on an
increase in fire dues for the Lakeview Fire Protection District
will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2025. This election will be held at
Tannehill Valley Baptist Church for all qualified voters residing within
the Lakeview Fire Protection District.

RFQ FOR ARCHITECTURAL, DESIGN, & RELATED SERVICES
TUSCALOOSA COUNTY COURTHOUSE COMPLEX RENOVATION PROJECT
The Tuscaloosa County Commission will receive sealed Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) for Architectural/Design Related Services for the Tuscaloosa County Courthouse Complex Renovation Project. The last day to request plans and submit inquiries will be Friday, May 9, 2025, at 4:00 pm. The sealed SOQs will be opened on Friday, May 16, 2025, at 9:00 am in the County Commission Chambers located in the Tuscaloosa County Courthouse.
