Driver License Temporary Closure Notice
Due to a statewide system update by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, the Tuscaloosa County License Offices will be unable to process any driver license or non-driver ID transactions from Monday, April 18th through Monday, April 25th. Commission Meeting Update
The Tuscaloosa County Commission meeting scheduled for March 16, 2O22 has been moved to March 30, 2O22 at 9:00 a.m.
County Courthouse Closed Monday, January 17th
In observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the Tuscaloosa County Courthouse will be closed on Monday, January 17, 2022. We will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, January 18, 2022.
Tuscaloosa County Commission Approves Youth-Employment Initiative
In Wednesday’s County Commission meeting, the Commission unanimously approved a contract to partner with West AlabaamWorks! to develop a unique, youth-employment jobs portal and other workforce and community development services. To read the full announcement, click here.
