2022 West Alabama Christmas Parade
The annual West Alabama Christmas Parade hosted by Tuscaloosa County Park and Recreation is tonight at 6:30pm. The tree lighting ceremony in front of the County Courthouse will begin at 5:00pm with performances by the University of Alabama Tuba Ensemble and Westwood Elementary School.
Tuscaloosa County Emergency Rental Assistance Program No Longer Receiving Applications Effective December 1, 2022
The Tuscaloosa County Emergency Rental Assistance Program will not accept new applications after the close of business on November 30, 2022. The program administrators will continue to process applications already received and distribute benefits on behalf of eligible applicants until remaining funds have been disbursed. When all funds have been depleted, remaining applicants will be notified by email that the program has closed.

The Tuscaloosa County Commission Meeting schedule for the months of December 2022 and January 2023 is as follows;

January 11, 2023 9a.m.
January 25, 2023 9a.m.
Thereafter, the Commission will meet at 9a.m. on the first and third Wednesday’s of each month until further notice.
Tuscaloosa County Courthouse and County Offices closed November 24th and 25th
The Tuscaloosa County Courthouse and county offices will be closed on Thursday November 24th and Friday November 25th in observance of Thanksgiving. The Commission wishes you and your family a safe and happy Thanksgiving holiday!
Veterans Day 2022
In observance of Veterans Day, the Tuscaloosa County Courthouse and county offices will be closed on Friday, November 11, 2022. The County Commission thanks our brave men and women for their service to our Country.
