TUSCALOOSA COUNTY CIVIL SERVICE BOARD

Vacancy Announcement

The Tuscaloosa County Civil Service Board will accept applications for the position of Assistant County Administrator. This position is highly responsible management and administrative support of the County Administrator in coordinating and directing the affairs of the County. Salary range $75,000-$90,000.

The position incumbent will direct or assist the administration of personnel to include testing, orientation, out-processing, payroll, insurance and retirement plans. The work also involves risk management, litigation support and coordinating the policy of the County Commission with and between the various Departments of the County and with the general public.

A baccalaureate degree from a four-year institution including course work in personnel administration, finance, accounting, and public relations is required.
